Prof. Dr. Andrea Raballo
Andrea Raballo, Chair Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Lugano (Switzerland) and head of research and academic education at the Cantonal Sociopsichiatric Organization, has primary research and clinical interests in phenomenological and developmental psychopathology, with a specific focus on the vulnerability of children and adolescents and their trajectories toward more severe mental disorders. He is also committed to developing innovative frameworks for service implementation. These interests played a significant role in the design and execution of the Reggio Emilia At Risk Mental States (ReARMS) project, a department-wide specialized program for the early detection and treatment of clinical high-risk conditions and first-episode psychosis which had a transformative impact in field.
