Mariana Bondrescu serves as assistant professor within the Psychiatry discipline at "Victor Babes" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Timisoara (UMFT), within the Neuroscience department. Additionally, she is a resident doctor specializing in Psychiatry and pursuing a doctorate in the Medical Genetics department at UMFT. Her research focuses on exploring the pharmacogenetic mechanisms influencing the response to antipsychotic medication in schizophrenia spectrum disorders. She is also undergoing training as a psychotherapist at the Romanian Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapy (ARTCC). Previously, she held the role of treasurer within the Association of Resident Doctors in Psychiatry from Romania (AMRPR). Her broad engagement across various branches of psychiatry showcases her passion, commitment, and aspiration to enhance the quality of medical care and improve patients' quality of life.
