Biography

Bernard Jacob has been active in the field of mental health and social welfare for 40 years. He is currently a member of the team at the WHO Collaborating Centre in Leuven, Belgium. For 15 years, he served as project manager and federal coordinator for the reform of adult mental health care and the new mental health policy for children and adolescents. He coordinated the overall development plan in conjunction with the various levels of decision-making and organization, including the responsibilities of the Regions, Communities, and the National Institute for Health and Disability Insurance. He holds a degree from the third edition of the International Master's program in Mental Health Policies and Services at the University of Lisbon.

He also has significant experience in managing and monitoring European projects.
