Prof. Dr. Jonathan Rabinowitz

Prof. Jonathan Rabinowitz is the Elie Wiesel Professor at Bar‑Ilan University in Israel and a former visiting professor at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. He chairs Bar‑Ilan’s Institutional Review Board and conducts research aimed at improving the safety and efficiency of clinical trials, as well as population‑based strategies to promote wellness. He is the PI on the Modelling negative symptom domains neurobiology study atGrigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iasi.  He serves as the academic lead for the Advanced Data Analysis Techniques group within the EU Innovative Medicines Initiative–funded NEMWEDS consortium, one of the largest collaborations focused on developing safer and more effective approaches to drug development. Trained at the doctoral level in both Statistics and Social Welfare, he serves on advisory groups to the FDA and EMA, is a fellow of ACNP and ECNP, and chairs the Working Group on Consistency in Measurement at the International Society for CNS Clinical Trials and Methodology. He is the author of more than 180 scientific publications.
