Ana-Maria Cristina Dăescu MD, PhD is a specialist psychiatrist with expertise in the fields of psychiatry and sexual medicine. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at "Victor Babeș" University of Medicine and Pharmacy from Timișoara, and, being passionate about endocrinology, pursued further studies in this discipline, earning a PhD in Medical Sciences with the distinction Magna cum laude. Throughout her career, she has been actively involved in research, publishing papers in ISI-ranked specialty journals and participating in numerous national and international conferences.

In addition to her medical practice, she is an assistant professor in the Psychiatry Department at "Victor Babeș" University of Medicine and Pharmacy from Timișoara, contributing to the education of future generations of physicians. She has received recognition for her research achievements, winning awards such as the PRECISI 2021 Award for Research Excellence and the First Prize in the internal scientific competition for doctoral students within UMFT's Doctoral School.

She is an active member of national and international scientific societies, including the Romanian Association of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (ARPP) and the European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM), reflecting her commitment to continuous professional development in the fields of psychiatry and sexual medicine.
